About the Organization

Meklit Microfinance Institution S.C, established under proclamation no. 40/96 and revised under proclamation 626/2009, is a transformed commercial microfinance institution licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia. It provides financial and non-financial services to medium and small enterprises, as well as low-income individuals, particularly women, in both urban and rural areas.

Available Job Positions

1. Customer Service Officer (Cashier)

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:
    • Handle customer transactions and cash management
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and institutional policies
    • Provide customer support and maintain accurate records
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Diploma/Level 4 or BA degree in Accounting & Finance or related fields
    • COC certification is mandatory

2. Attorney

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Key Responsibilities / Job Duties:
    • Provide legal advisory services to the institution

    • Diploma or LLB degree in Law
    • 2–4 years of relevant experience
