Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in PLC accounting and VAT management. This role is part-time and ideal for a highly experienced professional who can manage financial reporting, compliance, and advisory responsibilities with limited on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

Manage full accounting operations for a PLC entity.

Handle VAT preparation, filing, and compliance.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and regulations.

Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and financial accuracy.

Support audits and liaise with tax authorities when required.

Advise management on financial planning, tax efficiency, and compliance risks.

Attend on-site work 1–2 days per week as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably with PLCs.

Strong hands-on experience with VAT reporting and compliance.

Solid knowledge of Ethiopian tax and financial regulations.

Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits.

High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Ability to work independently on a part-time basis.
