Open Position

Position 1: IT & Infrastructure Officer

  • Employment Type: Full‑time
  • Job Location: Addis Ababa (Ayat area), Ethiopia

Responsibilities

  • Provide first‑line IT support to employees (onsite and remote)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues (Windows, macOS, printers, peripherals)
  • Assist with password resets, account unlocks, and access permissions
  • Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN connectivity
  • Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies
  • Perform basic server maintenance (backups, updates, patches)
  • Troubleshoot email, DNS, DHCP, and firewall issues
  • Set up and deploy new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Track and manage IT equipment inventory (repairs, replacements)
  • Install and configure licensed software and security updates

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
  • Work Experience: Minimum of two years demonstrated IT work experience
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT systems, networking, troubleshooting, and software installation
  • Soft Skills: Adaptability, communication, and problem‑solving ability
