National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) – Internship Opportunity for Fresh Graduates (2025)
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established under Proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated institution responsible for conducting elections, organizing referenda, and regulating political parties across the country.
As NEBE prepares for the 7th General Election scheduled for May 2026, the Board is strengthening its institutional capacity by recruiting 150 interns to support Civic and Voter Education activities nationwide.
Position: Intern – Civic and Voter Education (CVE) Department
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Civic Education, Adult Education, Political Science, or other related Social Sciences
-
No prior work experience required
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Proficiency in Amharic and the local language of the assigned duty station

Demonstrated commitment to civic duty, professionalism, and electoral integrity
-
Willingness to travel within the designated region
Key Responsibilities
-
Assist with the planning and delivery of civic and voter education initiatives
-
Support university student volunteers during outreach and training activities
-
Distribute voter education materials to target communities
-
Provide administrative and logistical support for election preparation tasks
-
Document field activities and submit periodic reports to supervisors
