National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) Vacancy 2025 – Multiple Positions

The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is an independent organization established under Article 102 of the FDRE Constitution. Since its establishment, NEBE has conducted multiple national and local elections, as well as referendums across Ethiopia.

In line with Proclamation No. 1133/2019 and its reform efforts, NEBE is looking for qualified and passionate professionals to join its team in Addis Ababa and regional offices.

1. Program Assistant

  • Qualification: BA/MA in Management, Public Administration, Secretarial Science, Law, Political Science, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3 years (BA) or 0 years (MA). Event management and travel experience required.
  • Skills: English & Amharic proficiency, computer literacy.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa.

2. Cyber Security Expert

  • Qualification: BSc in CS, CE, SE, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years in cyber security.
  • Skills: Network security, cryptography, cloud security, Python/PowerShell scripting.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa.

3. DevOps Engineer

  • Qualification: BSc in CS, CE, SE, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years.
  • Skills: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Duty Station: Addis Ababa.

4. Head, Civic & Voter Education Department

  • Qualification: MA/MSc/PhD in Social Sciences, Law, Political Science, Education, Development Studies, or related fields.
  • Experience: 10 years (MA) or 8 years (PhD) with 4 years leadership.

5. Deputy Head, General Service Management Department

  • Qualification: MA/PhD in Business Admin, Public Admin, Facilities Management, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience: 9 years (MA) or 7 years (PhD), including 4 in leadership.

6. Election Operations Advisor to the Chairperson

  • Qualification: MA/PhD in Management, Economics, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Experience: 9 years (MA) or 7 years (PhD), including 4 in leadership.

7. Frontend Developer

  • Qualification: BSc in CS, CE, SE, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3+ years.
  • Skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Vue/Angular.

8. Mobile App Developer

  • Qualification: BSc in CS, CE, SE, or related fields.

  • Qualification: BSc in CS, IT, Computer Networks, or related fields.

17. Procurement Contract Management Expert

  • Qualification: BA/MA in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: 7 years (BA), 5 years (MA).

18. Network Engineer

  • Qualification: BSc in CS, IT, Network Engineering, or related fields.
  • Certification: CCNA required, CCNP preferred.
