Position: Junior Finance Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance
- 1–3 years of relevant finance experience
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data entry and account reconciliation
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and databases
- Prepare cheques, process receipts, invoices, and payments
- Assist with monthly tax and pension settlements
- Prepare procurement reports for tax authority compliance
- Scan, archive, and manage financial documents (digital & hard copy)
- Issue withholding tax receipts
