About the Role
Pharo Integrated Agriculture and Manufacturing PLC is seeking an exceptional Head of Operations to lead and drive operational excellence across supply chain, facilities, IT, and administration. This senior leadership role supports high-impact programs and requires strong strategic thinking, proven leadership, and a passion for building efficient systems that enable meaningful results.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate with programme leads and operating units for seamless support.
- Advise the Country Director on operational matters and champion organizational culture.
Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, private sector, and community organizations.
- Represent the organization in forums and coordination meetings.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor managers across supply chain, facilities, and IT.
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Set performance objectives, conduct reviews, and support professional growth.
Supply Chain Management
- Oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics for timely, cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
- Strengthen supplier relationships and drive value-for-money procurement.
Facilities Management
- Manage and maintain facilities to ensure safe and functional work environments.
- Coordinate office planning, space management, and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
IT Management
- Provide strategic oversight of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and up-to-date technology solutions.
- Support digital transformation initiatives for operational efficiency.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support audits with accurate documentation and adherence to procedures.
Budget & Resource Management
- Support development and monitoring of operational budgets.
- Ensure efficient resource use aligned with financial goals.
- Track and report operational expenditure, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in senior operations leadership.
- Strong background in supply chain, facilities, IT, and administrative operations.
- Proven skills in team leadership, strategic planning, and budget management.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders in complex organizations.
