As a Redhat Openshift Platform Plus Engineer based in Addis Ababa, you will play a crucial role in our IT services division, focusing on the management and optimization of Red Hat OpenShift environments. Your expertise will contribute to the deployment and maintenance of our clients' cloud services and security solutions, ensuring their IT infrastructures are robust and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Red Hat OpenShift platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications on OpenShift.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters and associated tools to ensure high availability and performance.
• Ensure security and compliance of the OpenShift environment in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning for OpenShift applications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams regarding OpenShift-related issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift and container orchestration.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols relevant to cloud environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
