Available Positions

1. Analyst – Quality Assurance

The Analyst – Quality Assurance role focuses on quality assurance activities within a customer service environment, including quality evaluation, assessment forms, appeals, calibration, customer feedback, and quality management processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Science, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Proficiency in Oromiffa/Oromifa is mandatory.
  • Experience working in a customer service environment within a service-oriented organization.
  • Experience in telecommunications, banking, or airline sectors is an added advantage.
  • Experience in quality management or an audit environment is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English, Amharic, and local languages including Oromifa and Somali, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent knowledge of telecommunications technology and products.
  • Knowledge of call center technologies and operations is desirable.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes, including quality evaluation, assessment forms, appeals, and calibration.
  • Experience or knowledge of customer feedback surveys such as NPS and CSAT.
  • Analytical, communication, listening, and critical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Creative and capable of complex problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Quality Assurance training or certification is an added advantage.

2. Analyst – Digital/Online Services

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in Technology, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in digital transformation within a similar function or organization.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a customer service environment within a service-oriented organization.
  • Experience in telecommunications, banking, or airline sectors is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of how analytics can be used to drive outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Excellent knowledge of Safaricom products and services.

3. Software Engineer – Fintech Integration

The Software Engineer – Fintech Integration role focuses on developing and integrating scalable, cloud-based and microservice-oriented technology solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of coding experience outside a university setting.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Spring MVC, JEE, Maven, and Spring Cloud.
  • Strong proficiency in Java.
  • Experience with C# or Golang is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and message queues.
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture and the ability to design, develop, and implement scalable microservice-based platforms.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, testing, and CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, JMeter, Git, Stash, SonarQube, and GitOps is an added advantage.
  • Experience building microservices using cloud services and serverless architecture.
  • Experience designing and implementing full-stack solutions using Node or Spring.
  • Ability to build cloud-native and cloud-ready solutions using Java.
  • Strong understanding of Docker-based containers, Kubernetes, or other container schedulers.
  • Understanding of SOAP and REST APIs and development using Swagger UI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as SonarQube and JUnit.
