1. Specialist – Network Security

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and post-degree qualifications.
  • One or more relevant industry cybersecurity certifications, including:
    • CCNP-Security
    • CompTIA Security+
    • CCNP
    • NSE-4
    • NSE-6
  • Experience and proficiency in:
    • Network security
    • Endpoint security
    • Perimeter security
    • Privileged access management
    • Remote access
    • Telecom security
  • Knowledge of basic system administration and operating system hardening techniques.

2. Specialist – Cyber Security Architect

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and technical certifications.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in information security or cybersecurity.

Technical Requirements

Experience and proficiency in:

  • Network security
  • Endpoint security
  • Cloud security
  • Securing hybrid environments
  • Security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT

3. Specialist – Endpoint Security

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Endpoint Security Specialist or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of endpoint security technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDR, HIPAA, or applicable country regulations.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture.
  • Experience in security incident response and forensic investigation.
  • Experience developing and executing work processes in a fast-paced technical environment.
  • Good report-writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Certifications

Relevant certifications such as:

  • CISSP
  • CISM
  • CompTIA Security+

4. GRC Specialist and Data Protection Officer

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including 3 years focused on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).

Technical Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices, including:
    • NIST Cybersecurity Framework
    • ISO 27001
  • Experience with data protection technologies.
  • Ability to conduct data protection and cybersecurity risk assessments.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT are preferred.

5. Cyber Security Operation Center Analyst

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
    • Computer Science
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Software Engineering
    • IT Security
    • Information Technology

Desirable Qualifications

Professional security training and certifications such as:

  • CCNA
  • Security+
  • Certified SOC Analyst

These qualifications will be an added advantage.

6. Specialist – Secure by Design

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualification

  • BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field of study.

Desirable Qualifications

Professional security training or certifications such as:

  • Security+
  • CEH
  • Pentest+
  • CCIE
  • CISSP

7. Specialist – Business Intelligence and Data Governance

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
  • More than 2 years of experience generating business insights through ad hoc analyses, including trend and distribution analysis.
  • Good understanding of business operations.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in:
    • Oracle BI
    • SAS
    • SQL
    • Excel/VBA
    • PowerPoint
  • Analytics experience in one or more areas such as:
    • Campaign management
    • Sales
    • Product design
    • Pricing
    • Supply chain
    • Network
    • Customer care
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or similar industries.

Additional Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in statistical modelling is an advantage. This may include regression models, factor analysis, clustering, decision trees, and similar techniques.
  • Exposure to setting up DataMarts and designing or developing reporting and business intelligence solutions is helpful.

8. Senior – Cyber Security Architect

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and post-degree qualifications.

Desirable Cybersecurity Certifications

One or more of the following:

  • CISM
  • Azure Security Engineer
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • CISA
  • CISSP-ISSEP
  • CISSP-ISSAP
  • CCNA
  • NSE-4
  • NSE-6
