Betoch is hiring a Sales Representative in Addis Ababa to acquire landlords and property owners, manage sales opportunities, and grow its rental marketplace.

Betoch is an emerging Ethiopian company based in Addis Ababa. The company operates a rental marketplace designed to connect landlords and renters through a trusted platform.

Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for finding and engaging new landlords and property owners and guiding prospective customers through the sales process from initial contact through deal closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential landlords and property owners.
  • Conduct customer outreach through in-person meetings and telephone calls.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Follow up with leads and keep sales records and customer information up to date.
  • Provide support to customers after sales and respond to their feedback.
  • Work toward meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have:

  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in both Amharic and English.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to track leads, sales opportunities, and related sales documentation.
  • Basic computer and digital skills, including the use of social media and spreadsheets.
  • A customer-focused approach.
  • Good problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous sales experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently.

Compensation

  • Compensation is based on the company's salary scale.
