Strong Non Basic Chemical Manufacturing PLC is inviting qualified candidates to apply for a Sales and Marketing Officer position in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Position: Sales and Marketing Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team.
  • Set clear objectives and performance expectations.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and business partners.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
  • Prepare and present sales and marketing reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with product development and pricing teams to align strategies with market needs.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging sales and marketing technologies.
  • Support business development and client meetings as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and marketing management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and marketing goals.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in sales and marketing software and CRM tools.
  • Sales experience in one or more of the following sectors:
    • Construction
    • Real estate
    • Concrete admixtures
    • Building materials
    • Related sectors
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and business development.
  • Good knowledge of the local construction market is an advantage.
