Position Summary: Senior HIV Service Officer
The Senior HIV Service Officer will oversee community-based HIV services for the USAID FF-HPCT project, facilitating linkage between communities and health facilities, managing cases of PLHIV, and building the capacity of volunteers and community structures.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate linkage of clients between the community and health facilities using Com Care application.

Conduct community-based case management for stable and unstable PLHIV clients.

Build capacity of Community Resource Personnel (CRPs) through training, mentoring, and supervision.

Support community structures (Community Committees & Community Care Coalitions) in planning and implementing HIV-related activities.

Record and report community services using paper-based and electronic systems.

Engage in community-based demand creation for HIV, cervical cancer screening, and other health services.

Conduct assisted partner notification, index case testing, and NCD screening at the community level.

Promote gender equality, women empowerment, and stigma reduction initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: BSc in Nursing or Public Health.

Experience: Minimum 3 years in HIV service delivery or related public health projects.

Skills:
-
Ability to coordinate and support volunteers and community health workers.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-
Teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
