1. Purchasing Officer

Job Summary

The Purchasing Officer will manage day-to-day sourcing activities, including collecting and evaluating quotations, preparing purchase orders, following approval procedures, tracking deliveries, and maintaining procurement records.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Degree must be from a recognized Ethiopian university
• More than 2 years of relevant work experience
• Procurement certification such as CIPS or CPSM is an advantage
• Knowledge of Ethiopian procurement laws is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and evaluate supplier quotations
• Prepare purchase orders and follow approval chains
• Track delivery of purchased items
• Maintain procurement documentation and records
• Coordinate with logistics and property units

• Relevant certification in security management
• At least 3 years of experience in security-related work
• Good communication skills in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol institute buildings and outdoor grounds
• Monitor gates, visitors, and student movement
• Report suspicious activities and safety concerns
• Respond promptly to emergencies
• Maintain security logs and incident records
