Position: Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Systems & Controls: Support the Finance Manager in administering financial systems, implementing policies, and ensuring internal controls.
  • Transactions: Authorize payments, manage salaries and reimbursements, prepare invoices, reconcile accounts, and process statutory payments (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Corporate Tax).
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate financial management reports, maintain balance sheet schedules, and ensure compliance with government tax regulations.
  • Cash Flow & Budgeting: Manage cash flows, working capital, and budgets; prepare monthly budget vs actual cost analysis.
  • Office Management: Oversee filing, storage, insurance coverage, permits, and licenses.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in financial management (retail/FMCG preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory regulations
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
