SNV Ethiopia is now inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:


1. Cluster Coordinator (Contingent to Donor Funding)

Duty Station: Addis Ababa (with frequent field travel)
Contract Type: National, Full-time | Duration: 1 year (extendable based on performance & funding)
Sector: Agrifood – Project Management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of rural cluster program activities.
  • Manage cluster teams, work plans, budgets, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with government, private sector, and community stakeholders.
  • Oversee Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) at cluster level.
  • Ensure safeguarding and compliance with donor requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s in Agribusiness, Development Studies, Economics, Agricultural Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years in project management, youth employment, market systems, or agribusiness.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and adaptive management skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively; fluency in English.

2. Gender Equality & Social Inclusion (GESI) Advisor – Horti-LIFE III

Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Contract Type: National, Full-time | Duration: 7–12 months (extendable)
Sector: Agri-Food / Gender & Inclusion

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership on Gender Equality & Social Inclusion strategies.
  • Develop GESI plans, training materials, and capacity-building programs.
  • Mainstream gender and inclusion into all project components.
  • Coach field teams and monitor GESI integration.
  • Manage budgets, draft reports, and represent SNV at forums.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master’s in Gender Studies, Development, or related field.
  • 10+ years implementing GESI-focused interventions.
  • Proven expertise in rural livelihoods, training, and advocacy.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and partnership skills.
  • English fluency is required.

3. Project Intern – Energy Engineer (SEE-CC/HTCC)
