About the Role

MSF-Belgium is seeking a Specialized Technician IT – Coordination to perform advanced installation, maintenance, and repair of IT systems and equipment. The role ensures proper functioning of ICT infrastructure, supports user training, and contributes to emergency interventions and field projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced installations, maintenance, and repairs of ICT systems.
  • Suggest improvements and assist ICT department with technical needs.
  • Manage ICT and non-ICT equipment inventory, including asset registration and barcoding.
  • Schedule and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for IT and telecom systems.
  • Fill in for ICT Specialist when required.
  • Support assessment of ICT materials and services in the local market.
  • Ensure regular system backups and support Windows environment enrollment.
  • Prepare ICT equipment maintenance plans and agreements.
  • Assist IT team with telecommunication service requests.
  • Follow up on Closed User Group (CUG) package management for office and projects.
  • Conduct field visits to provide technical support.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional IT experience (NGO/international organization experience desirable).
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of local languages is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced networking (Cisco Meraki, Fortinet).
  • MS Office 365.
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Basic maintenance of office machines and CCTV.
  • MS Intune device management.
