This role focuses on supporting woreda health offices and primary health care units (PHCUs) in nutrition screening, case detection, referral, and treatment of acute malnutrition through Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programs (TSFP).

Responsibilities
- Support woreda health offices and PHCUs in nutrition screening, case detection, and referral of acute malnutrition cases
- Assist health facilities (hospitals, health centers, health posts) in treating acute malnutrition among children under 5 and pregnant/lactating women
- Implement and monitor TSFP food distribution, site preparation, and community mobilization
- Provide technical support and supervision to TSFP sites weekly
- Ensure integration of TSFP with Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) promotion and counseling
- Support procurement of TSFP supplies, job aids, and anthropometric equipment
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with national protocols and SPHERE standards
Requirements
- Education: BSc degree in Public Health, Clinical Nursing, Nutrition, or related health fields from accredited institutions
- Training Certificates:
- Acute Malnutrition 2019 Revised Guideline
- Revised 2019 IMAM Guideline and IYCF-E Training
- Integrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System (IPLS)
- Family MUAC approach and TSFP/MAM training
- Experience: 3–5 years in nutrition or health-related programs
- Languages: Amharic, Afan Oromo, and English
