Available Position

  1. Graphic Design Assistant (G6)
    • Responsibilities:
      • Participate in client meetings to discuss design projects and objectives.
      • Undertake independent design assignments for UN conferences, events, and campaigns.
      • Conceptualize and develop design proposals, including infographics and data visualizations.
      • Prepare approved designs for electronic and print formats; review proofs.
      • Provide guidance throughout production, coordinating with clients and production staff.
      • Assist with data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations.
      • Update web pages, brochures, and other information materials.
    • Competencies:
      • Professionalism: Knowledge of industry production, printing, desktop publishing, and layout.
      • Creativity: Ability to propose innovative design solutions and think outside the box.
      • Client Orientation: Strong partnership skills, responsiveness, and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Diploma in graphic design or related field desirable.
    • Experience: Minimum 7 years in publications production, desktop publishing, or graphic design. Reduced to 5 years for candidates with a first‑level university degree. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud required. Experience in data analytics desirable.
    • Languages: English required (UN Level II). French desirable (UN Level I).
