1. Emergency Agriculture Officer

Employer: World Vision Ethiopia
Job Title: Emergency Agriculture Officer
Location: Gazgibla and Sehala Woreda, Ethiopia
Education: BSc in Agriculture or a related field
Experience: 3+ years of experience in agriculture/livelihood project implementation and/or emergency response

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with NGOs is preferred.
  • Emergency response experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in grassroots development and emergency response in hardship environments is relevant.

2. Emergency WASH Officer/Engineer

Employer: World Vision Ethiopia
Job Title: Emergency WASH Officer/Engineer
Location: Goncha and Sahla Woreda, Ethiopia
Education: MSc or BSc in Water Resources/Hydraulic Engineering, Water Supply, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Experience: 2 years of relevant WASH project/program experience for MSc holders or 4 years for BSc holders

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with an international NGO or similar organization, preferably in emergency WASH.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including WaterCAD and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of English and a local language is advantageous.

3. Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer

Job Title: Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Officer
Location: Goncha, Ethiopia
Education: BA/MA in Psychology, Psychiatry, Mental Health, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatric Nursing, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, or a related social/behavioral science field
Experience: 2 years of relevant experience for MSc holders or 4 years for BSc holders

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in MHPSS, psychosocial programming, protection, health, or social services, preferably in emergency or humanitarian settings.
  • Community MHPSS, psychological first aid, basic counseling, case identification, referral, and follow-up experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with MHNT, outreach, or emergency health coordination is advantageous.
  • Additional training in MHPSS, PFA, trauma-informed care, counseling, or child protection is advantageous.
  • Registration/licensing where applicable is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Sphere, IASC MHPSS guidelines, and Red Cross/Red Crescent Code is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure in hardship and crisis environments.
  • English and local language skills are advantageous.

4. Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance Officer

5. Health and Nutrition Coordinator

Education: University degree in Sociology, Social Work, Social Science, Monitoring & Data Management, or a related field
Experience: 2–3 years of field experience in Accountability and MEAL in emergency contexts and/or grant-funded programs

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven experience establishing accountability systems for organizations supported by bilateral/multilateral donors and serving more than 100,000 beneficiaries within 12 months.
  • Experience designing and implementing mixed-method surveys from design through reporting.
  • Experience with mobile data collection tools such as Kobo, CommCare, and ODK.
  • Knowledge of USG donor regulations, World Vision/Sphere standards, and Red Cross/NGO Code.
  • Certified training in Humanitarian Accountability, CHS, or SPHERE is preferred.
  • English and local language skills are advantageous.

8. Social Worker

  • Experience with PSEA and community-based protection.

  • Psychosocial support and PFA training.
