Yesar Business Group is inviting qualified and experienced applicants to join its Radisson Hotel Construction Project in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The company is recruiting for five positions in site engineering, fit-out supervision, surveying, and construction materials management.

These opportunities are suitable for candidates with relevant engineering, technical, surveying, or store management qualifications and experience, depending on the position.

Available Job Positions

1. Junior Site Engineer

Required Qualification: BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 0–2 years. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in site engineering may be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist site engineers with site supervision, measurements, and inspections.
  • Monitor construction progress and support progress reporting.
  • Assist with material requests, quality control, and snagging.
  • Read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Support day-to-day site engineering activities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
  • Interest in construction site operations and supervision.

2. Fit-Out Site Engineer

Required Qualification: BSc in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 3 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate fit-out activities, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, tiling, painting, joinery, doors, cladding, and finishing works.
  • Review construction drawings and coordinate architectural and MEP works.
  • Monitor work quality and construction progress.
  • Prepare site reports, Requests for Information (RFIs), and inspection requests.

Preferred Experience: Experience in hotel construction or high-end fit-out projects is highly preferred.

3. Fit-Out Senior Foreman

Required Qualification: Technical diploma, certificate, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: At least 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate partitions, ceilings, flooring, tiling, painting, joinery, cladding, doors, and finishing works.
  • Manage manpower, productivity, workmanship, materials, and daily site activities.
  • Coordinate snagging and finishing work.
  • Lead and supervise fit-out workers and subcontractors.

Preferred Experience: Strong experience in hotel or high-end fit-out projects is preferred.

4. Level Man / Surveyor

Required Qualification: Diploma or certificate in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: At least 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out setting-out, leveling, alignment, and elevation measurements.
  • Establish and check grid lines, benchmarks, and floor levels.
  • Support surveying for partitions, ceilings, doors, and other fit-out works.
  • Read architectural and structural drawings.
  • Maintain accurate surveying records.

Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to use an Auto Level, Total Station, and Laser Level.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately.

5. Senior Store Keeper

Required Qualification: Diploma or degree in Store Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience: Not specified.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receipt, storage, issuing, and recording of construction materials.
  • Maintain stock records, material registers, and inventory control documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation of material movements.
  • Support effective construction material management at the project site.

Additional Requirement: Construction project experience is required. Hotel fit-out experience is an advantage.
