The main purpose of the job is to ensure that all Yes manufacturing sites put in place a robust health & safety, environmental, occupational health and product stewardship systems that assures quality at all levels of the manufacturing process Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of Yes’s programs in the areas of regulatory compliance Responsible for the Quality Management Systems ; as Management Representative and provide insight and strategic leadership particularly on matters of quality management Developing, maintaining and monitoring company quality standards, procedures and risk assessment protocols and documentation. Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and procedures Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and/or specifications Setting customer service standards and specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers Serve as Management Representative for the ISO 2200 Food Management System and 14001 Environmental Management Systems. Implements and manages the ISO 9000 Quality Management System, ISO 2200 Food Management System and 14001 Environmental Management System. Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality and directing quality management objectives to ensure profitability Effectively line manage and ensure the highest morale in the Quality Assurance team Liasion with national quality, safety, health and environmental compliance organizations Perform other related duties as assigned by the GM Education, Experience and Skills/Person Specification: Education : Minimum B.Sc. Degree in technical disciplines Experience: 7 yearsof health, safety and quality assurance preferably in FMCG sector. Essential Competencies : Energetic, self-starter, organized and ability to work under pressure. Good organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others at all levels. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions (documentation of minutes and summaries, follow up on issues, attending meetings, planning and handling of logistics, etc) Ability in the application of computer packages and typing skills.
