About the Role
East Steel PLC is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Admin/HR Specialist to support employee lifecycle management, recruitment, payroll coordination, and HR compliance. The role requires strong communication skills, confidentiality, and hands‑on HR experience.
Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management — Maintain and update staff records including leave, attendance, contracts, and personnel files.

Recruitment & Onboarding — Post job openings, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and conduct new‑hire orientation.

Payroll & Benefits Support — Provide accurate attendance and leave data to the finance team; assist with benefits administration.

Compliance & Policy — Ensure HR operations comply with Ethiopian labor laws and internal company policies.

Employee Support — Serve as the first point of contact for staff inquiries, ensuring confidentiality and timely issue resolution.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience: More than 3 years of relevant HR or administrative experience.
