About ANPPCAN Ethiopia

ANPPCAN‑Ethiopia is one of the oldest child protection organizations in Ethiopia, re‑registered with the Federal Agency for Civil Society Organizations under registration number 0385. It implements programs across Ethiopia in collaboration with donor partners and government stakeholders, focusing on child protection and advocacy.


Position Overview

The Partnership and Resource Mobilization Manager will report directly to the Executive Director and lead the organization’s fundraising and partnership efforts. The role involves developing strategies, preparing concept notes and proposals, organizing fundraising events, and maintaining strong relationships with local and international donors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising and resource mobilization strategies.
  • Prepare concept notes, project proposals, and organize fundraising events.
  • Maintain strong donor relationships and partnerships.
  • Engage staff in resource mobilization efforts for greater effectiveness.
  • Drive ANPPCAN‑Ethiopia towards programmatic and financial sustainability.
  • Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities and promote best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: MA/BA in Development Studies, Project Management, Economics, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years (MA) or 10 years (BA) in fundraising and resource mobilization, preferably in NGOs.
  • Skills:
    • Leadership and strategic thinking.
    • Strong computer and software skills.
    • Partnership and resource mobilization expertise.
    • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Salary: Negotiable.
  • Terms: One‑year contract with possibility of extension.
