Position 1: Environmental Expert (Fresh Graduates) – Sebeta
Role Purpose
Ensure the brewery operates in full compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals by managing impacts related to water use, wastewater, energy, emissions, and solid waste. Support SHE programs and continuous improvements in alignment with the Site QSHE Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian and international environmental laws, permits, and standards.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports; maintain permits and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and support external inspections.
- Monitor water consumption efficiency and oversee wastewater treatment plant operations.
- Implement waste management plans, promote recycling, and track KPIs.
- Monitor emissions and energy usage, identify optimization opportunities.
- Support ISO 14001 implementation and certification.
- Train employees in environmental policies and promote sustainability culture.
- Conduct safety inductions, inspections, toolbox sessions, and live audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of ESIA processes, ESMP development, and compliance monitoring.
- Familiarity with Ethiopian environmental laws and ISO 14001.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Position 2: Senior Welder – Meta Plant
Role Purpose
Perform advanced welding, fabrication, and installation tasks across the factory, ensuring compliance with food‑grade standards. Mentor junior welders, troubleshoot complex challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute advanced welding and fabrication (stainless steel, pipelines, tanks, conveyors, etc.).
- Supervise welders and mechanics during installations and repairs.
- Inspect and certify welding works to meet GMP and safety standards.
- Plan welding activities with maintenance and utilities teams to minimize downtime.
- Lead emergency repairs and propose corrective solutions.
- Maintain documentation of welding works and material usage.
- Train and mentor junior welders in techniques and safety practices.
- Support continuous improvement projects and preventive maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications
- TVET Level‑2/3 with CoC certification in Mechanics, Electromechanics, Industrial Electricity, or Welding/Fabrication.
- 7 years’ experience as a welder in FMCG or industrial settings, with at least 3 years in food & beverage industry.
- Expertise in TIG, MIG, Stick, and Argon welding on stainless steel pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of P&ID reading, fabrication drawings, and welding standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
