BGI now invites qualified applicants to apply for the following positions:
1️⃣ Chemist
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Chemistry, Applied Biology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the food & beverage or FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physico‑chemical laboratory analysis from raw materials to final products and wastewater.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and national regulations.
- Perform planned and unplanned inspections and maintain quality records.
- Prepare cleaning chemicals/reagents and handle laboratory equipment.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, documentation, and chemical consumption records.
Location: Hawassa, Sebeta
2️⃣ Junior Operator
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electricity/Electronics Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Food Science.
- 0–1 year experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to work under pressure and uphold company values.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take on tasks.
- Team player, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Openness to feedback and continuous learning.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, Email).
