Position: Senior Database Administrator

Job Summary

The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of enterprise database systems. The role ensures database health, availability, and performance, while implementing robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer enterprise database systems.
• Monitor database health, availability, and performance.
• Perform SQL tuning and database optimization.
• Administer backup, restore, and recovery operations.
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and version management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: First Degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience in database administration.
