Position: Food Security and Environmental Forum Coordinator
Job Summary
The Coordinator provides technical support to the Forum, manages research and networking activities, prepares fundraising proposals, organizes meetings, and ensures effective communication between the Forum and CCRDA’s Membership Development and Networking Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the Forum Steering Committee and Secretariat.
- Prepare fundraising proposals to ensure financial sustainability.
- Assist in setting Forum goals, objectives, and annual action plans.
- Conduct research and produce working papers on food security and environment.
- Organize general assemblies, steering committee, and working group meetings.
- Maintain partnerships with local and international stakeholders.
- Facilitate dialogue sessions, seminars, workshops, and trainings.
- Prepare and update Forum databases, reports, and information brochures.
- Represent CCRDA and the Forum in external meetings and submit reports.
- Support networking among Forums and strengthen collaboration with member agencies.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agro‑Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Economics, or related social sciences (Master’s preferred).

Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.

Skills:
- Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
- Fluent in English; computer literate
- Excellent networking and partnership skills
- NGO experience is an advantage
Terms of Employment
- One year contract with possibility of extension based on performance
