Position: Driver/Purchaser

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the General Services and Property Supervisor, the Driver/Purchaser is responsible for transporting personnel, handling procurement activities, and ensuring safe and efficient vehicle operation.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Check vehicle condition daily (coolants, fuel, tyres) and drive safely per traffic regulations
  • Transport goods, equipment, and staff as required
  • Provide shuttle services and meet staff/guests per schedule
  • Perform routine vehicle services (washing, cleaning, greasing) and report defects
  • Handle utility bill payments, bank deposits, and withdrawals
  • Maintain logbooks and submit reports on fuel consumption, mileage, and usage
  • Collect quotations from suppliers and reconcile invoices with goods received
  • Keep systematic procurement records and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Completed high school
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • License: 3rd Grade Driving License / Public 1 Driving License
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational ability, and attention to detail
