China Rail Transit Engineering Consultancy (CRTEC) Ethiopia is hiring recent engineering graduates and junior professionals to join its offshore design team in Addis Ababa. Successful candidates will work on high‑profile global petrochemical and industrial plant projects under a structured mentorship framework, gaining international exposure and hands‑on experience.
Available Positions
1. Graduate Piping Design Engineer (Trainee)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petrochemical Engineering.

Preferred Universities: AAU, AASTU, ASTU, BDU, UOG, AMU (Arba Minch Campus), MIT, MU, UU, or recognized Chinese universities.

Academic Standing: GPA ≥ 3.0 (males), GPA ≥ 2.8 (females). Strong academic records required.

Experience: Fresh graduates or up to 3 years’ experience.

Skills: AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Smart Plant 3D, Navisworks, Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks.
2. Junior Civil Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: 0–3 years.

Skills: MS Excel, MS Project, Civil‑3D, AutoCAD, Infraworks, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, Revit, SketchUp. Willingness to learn GIS and hydrology software.
3. Junior Hydrologist & Highway Structures Design Engineer

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Experience: 0–3 years.

Skills: Civil‑3D, AutoCAD, Infraworks, ETABS, SAFE, SAP, GIS tools, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, HY‑8.
4. Draftsman / Junior Architect

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
