Unilever Credit Controller Job – Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Function: Supply Chain | Location: Addis Ababa | Employment: Full Time

About the Role:
Unilever is hiring a Credit Controller to manage the end-to-end credit granting and collection process. The role ensures compliance with company credit policies, optimizes sales, and minimizes bad debt. You will work closely with Key Distributors, the Finance team, and customers to ensure timely payments and smooth credit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess customer creditworthiness and manage credit terms.
• Monitor bank accounts, post deposits in SAP, and prepare Cash Receipt Vouchers (CRV).
• Maintain withholding tax records, bank guarantees, and other master data.
• Chase overdue invoices, handle disputes, and ensure monthly reconciliations.
• Liaise with Key Distributor finance teams and field teams to resolve credit issues.
• Support credit process simplification and capability development.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 3+ years of finance experience; SAP experience required.
• Strong analytical, Excel, PowerPoint, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Attention to detail, stakeholder management, and customer service focus.
