About the Role
CRTEC Ethiopia is recruiting Graduate Piping Design Engineers (Trainees) to join its offshore piping design team in Addis Ababa. This entry-level program offers fresh graduates the opportunity to work on global petrochemical and industrial plant projects under structured mentorship from senior international experts.
Key Responsibilities

3D Modeling: Assist in modeling steel structures, foundations, and plant equipment using AVEVA PDMS.

Piping Routing: Execute basic 3D piping routing based on P&IDs and international codes (GB/ASME/DIN).

Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-border teams in China, the Middle East, and Africa.

Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petrochemical Engineering.
- Target universities: AAU, AASTU, ASTU, BDU, UOG, AMU (Arba Minch Campus only), MIT, MU, UU. Graduates from recognized Chinese universities are also encouraged.

Academic Standing:
- Minimum GPA: 3.0+ (males), 2.8+ (females). Strong academic performance required.

Experience:
- Fresh graduates or junior professionals with up to 3 years’ experience.

Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Smart Plant 3D, Navisworks, Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or similar 3D modeling software is an advantage.

Language:
- Professional English fluency required. Basic conversational Chinese is advantageous.

Flexibility:
- Willingness to work overtime and travel abroad for projects.

Service Bond:
- Selected candidates must sign a 3‑year service bond after completing the 1‑year paid training program.
