Job Summary

The Principal Online Channels System Engineering Officer is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining the Bank's internet and mobile banking applications. The role also supports the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of digital banking solutions while ensuring system availability, performance, and integration with other enterprise platforms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Science
  • Computer Information Systems
  • Software Engineering
  • Or another related field

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in system engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain internet and mobile banking applications.
• Design, implement, and test digital banking solutions.
• Ensure online banking platforms remain operational and available.
• Resolve technical incidents and customer issues in accordance with agreed service levels.
• Support integration between digital banking platforms and enterprise systems, including Core Banking Systems (CBS) and ERP solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams on system integration projects.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Knowledge of software system design and implementation.
• Experience with systems planning and software management practices.
• Knowledge of data privacy and information security principles.
• Experience in infrastructure and storage capacity planning.
• Hands-on experience with configuration management tools.
• VMware virtualization experience.
• SQL administration and database management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer relationship management skills.
• Attention to detail and quality.
• Creativity and problem-solving ability.
• Risk awareness and professional integrity.
