Job Summary
The Technical Consultant for Core Banking is responsible for the technical design, development, customization, integration, and system configuration of Temenos Transact (T24). The successful candidate will translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and successful integration with external platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Temenos Transact (T24) components using InfoBasic, TAFJ/TAFC, and Temenos frameworks.
- Build and maintain LOCAL routines, hooks, validations, VERSIONs, ENQUIRYs, and browser customizations.
- Design and implement integrations using OFS (Open Financial Services) messaging and APIs.
- Develop interfaces between the core banking platform and external applications.
- Support data migration by developing ETL scripts and assisting with bulk data uploads.
- Install, configure, and maintain Transact environments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and support Close of Business (COB) processes.
- Monitor application performance and improve system scalability and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation and maintain development standards.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to deliver effective banking technology solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Strong experience working with the Temenos Transact (T24) technical platform.
- Proficiency in InfoBasic, jBASE, or Java (TAFJ).
- Solid understanding of OFS messaging and system integration.
- Experience working with Linux or Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, or similar database technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Docker, and cloud environments is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform under project deadlines.
