Position: Branch Business Relationship Officer

Job Summary

The Branch Business Relationship Officer is responsible for achieving business growth in Retail & MSME/IFB Banking by managing relationships with new and existing customers. The role focuses on sustaining customer satisfaction, retaining clients, and generating additional business through cross‑sell opportunities.


Qualifications

Academic & Professional

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance/Accounting & Finance, Management, or related fields.
  • Training in banking operations (IFB, domestic, credit, and international banking).

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years successful experience in banking or customer contact roles.

Functional / Technical Competencies

  • Product & Price Knowledge: Understanding of domestic, digital, and international banking products.
  • Marketing & Sales Skills: Ability to promote and sell financial products effectively.
  • Banking Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with core banking and digital platforms.
  • Islamic Banking Knowledge: Understanding of Sharia principles in banking and financing.
  • Customer Service Delivery: Ability to deliver services across multiple channels (web, email, USSD, SMS, ATMs, POS, agents, merchants, branches).
