Job Summary
The Machine Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing packaging machines and associated devices to ensure maximum availability, efficiency, compliance, reduced breakdowns, and product quality at minimum cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor performance of packaging machines and diagnose faults
- Service machines according to schedules and overhaul with team members
- Ensure packaging quality at every stage and follow up on operational out‑of‑control (OOC) situations
- Recommend replacement of plant machinery when necessary
- Record activities in logbooks and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
- Plan and execute tasks based on priority, manage PM activities, checklists, work orders, and tags
- Apply fault‑finding techniques, conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA), and perform plant inspections
- Report non‑conformance issues to packaging engineer and collaborate with shift engineers
- Manage spare parts stock levels and request replenishment with approval
Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Sc. / Level V in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5–6 years of relevant work experience with packaging machines
