HST Consulting PLC Young Leaders Program 2026 – Accounting & Finance
HST Consulting PLCHST Consulting PLC is accepting applications for the 5th round of its Young Finance Leaders Talent Development Program, designed for individuals who want to build a career in accounting and finance.
The program provides foundational training in technical accounting and finance through 12 courses covering accounting, auditing, and Ethiopian taxation, with a public finance perspective.
Training is delivered online with supplementary face-to-face sessions.
Young Leaders Program
Program Focus
The program is designed to help participants develop foundational accounting and finance competencies and build the ability to handle basic accounting and finance functions in private or public organizations.
The training covers 12 courses in areas including:
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Ethiopian taxation
- Public finance
Participants who successfully complete the courses and pass the assessment examinations may be considered for recruitment by HST Consulting PLC’s Strategic Business Units and/or recommended to other employers.
Who Can Apply?
Educational Background
The program welcomes:
- College or university graduates from non-accounting and finance fields, including graduates from natural sciences.
- High school graduates with a strong foundation in English communication and numerical skills.
Work Experience
- No prior work experience is required.
Other Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Strong desire and ability to learn.
- Curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Genuine interest in pursuing a new career path in accounting and finance.
- Willingness to transition into accounting and finance regardless of previous field of study.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
Laptop and Internet Requirement
Applicants are expected to have:
- Their own laptop with adequate hardware and software capability.
- Reliable internet access.
Accommodation Requirement
Participants are expected to arrange their own accommodation and basic necessities, including food.
According to the program information, applicants should therefore:
- Be residents of Addis Ababa or nearby towns, or
- Have close relatives who can provide accommodation and basic necessities for 12–18 months.
Career Opportunity After the Program
Participants who successfully complete all courses and pass the required assessment examinations may be considered for recruitment within HST Consulting PLC’s Strategic Business Units and/or recommended to other employers.
