Position: Country Sales Manager – Ethiopia
Role Purpose
The Country Sales Manager will lead in‑market execution, manage distributor operations, and drive commercial success in Ethiopia’s FMCG environment. This role ensures strong distributor performance, product availability, and trade execution across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily engagement with distributors to ensure efficient sales operations.
- Track sales performance, stock management, and payment compliance.
- Guide distributor sales teams to achieve strong product representation and market coverage.
- Oversee POSM (Point of Sale Materials) planning and trade campaign execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and promotions.
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
- Lead and coach a team of Sales Representatives.
- Support claims documentation, compliance, and broader business operations.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ FMCG sales and distribution experience.
- Proven track record in managing distributors and driving execution.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Solid understanding of the Ethiopian FMCG landscape.
- Must be currently residing in Ethiopia.
