Position Purpose
The Trade Marketing Representative (TMR) manages a defined retail territory, ensuring product availability, visibility, and execution of trade marketing programs. The role drives market share growth, strengthens brand positioning, supports wholesalers, and expands distribution through top‑up sales and onboarding new outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned retail outlets with efficient route planning and regular visits.
- Ensure product availability and visibility in all outlets.
- Execute trade marketing programs effectively across the territory.
- Conduct top‑up sales to minimize out‑of‑stock situations and meet sales targets.
- Expand distribution by onboarding new outlets and improving product listings.
- Monitor wholesalers to ensure compliance with distribution practices and pricing.
- Collect and analyze market data using SFA tools to generate insights.
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities with the sales team.
- Monitor illicit trade activities and report findings.
- Build strong retailer relationships and represent JTI professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
- Properly use and maintain company assets.
- Support additional tasks and projects as assigned.

- Ability to use mobile sales force automation (SFA) tools.
