About NEBE
The National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is an independent organization established under Article 102 of the FDRE Constitution. Since its inception, NEBE has conducted five national elections, two local elections, and six referendums. In 2019, reforms under Proclamation No. 1133/2019 restructured the Board to five full‑time members serving six‑year terms, with expanded powers and duties to ensure impartial, transparent, and credible electoral processes.

1. Cashier (5 Positions)
Qualification:
- Master’s in Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields (no experience required)
- BA in same fields with 3 years of experience
Skills & Knowledge:
- Basic mathematics and IFMIS system knowledge
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem‑solving ability
- Fluency in federal and local languages
- Must not be a member of a political party

2. Human Resources and Administration Expert
Qualification:
- Master’s in HRM, Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Development Management, or related fields with 5 years of experience
- BA in same fields with 7 years of experience

- Fluency in federal and local languages

3. Political Party Affairs and Election Operation Expert
Qualification:
- Master’s in Political Science, Development Studies, Human Rights, Law, Project Management, Management, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or related fields with 5 years of experience
- BA in same fields with 7 years of experience
Skills:
- In‑depth knowledge of political systems, electoral processes, and party dynamics
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
- Ability to work across diverse cultural contexts
- Ethical mindset with commitment to transparency and impartiality
- Coordination and problem‑solving skills
- Awareness of election security measures
- Basic financial management skills
- Fluency in federal and local languages preferred
- Must not be a member of a political party

4. Logistics Expert
Qualification:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Logistics Management, or related fields
- 5 years for Master’s / 7 years for BA
