Nib Insurance Company S.C. (NIC) is recruiting qualified professionals for four positions in human resources, insurance underwriting, and branch management. The vacancies are open to candidates with relevant educational qualifications and professional experience in the respective fields.

Nib Insurance Company provides General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance services in Ethiopia. The company was established in 2002 and has expanded its paid-up capital and shareholder base since its establishment.

Available Positions

Position 1: Senior Human Resource Development Officer

Job Grade: IX

Educational Qualification:

• BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Of this experience, at least 4 years should be as a Training Officer II, Human Resource Officer II, or in a similar position.

Salary and Benefits: According to the company's salary scale and benefit packages.

Position 2: Branch Manager I

Job Grade: VIII

Educational Qualification:

• BA degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• The required experience should include one of the following:
  • 2 years as a Senior Underwriting Officer;
  • 2 years as a Senior Claims Officer;
  • 1 year as a Contact Office Head; or
  • 3 years as an Underwriting Officer II or Claims Officer II;
  • Or experience in a similar position.

Place of Work: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Position 3: Senior Underwriting Officer

Job Grade: VII

Educational Qualification:

• BA/BSc degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Of this experience, at least 2 years should be as an Underwriting Officer II, Claims Officer II, or in a similar position.

Place of Work: Head Office, Addis Ababa

Position 4: Human Resource Officer II

Job Grade: VI

Educational Qualification:

• BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Human Resource Officer I or in a similar position.
