Open Positions

1. Finance Assistant

Career Level: Junior (1–3 years)
Number of Positions: 1

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day finance operations.
  • Check supplier invoices and ensure compliance with NRC standards.
  • Support month-end closing and prepare financial reports.
  • Manage petty cash, cheque payments, and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure taxes and government payments are settled monthly.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents.

Qualifications:

  • BA in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with large institutional donors is an advantage.

2. Finance Coordinator

Career Level: Mid Level (3–5 years)
Number of Positions: 1

Responsibilities:

  • Implement NRC’s financial systems and procedures at area level.
  • Prepare budgets, donor reports, and financial analysis.
  • Train staff with financial responsibilities.
  • Verify vouchers, PR/PO/BAS, and ensure compliance with NRC standards.
  • Ensure timely payment of salaries, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Monitor budgets and advise Area Manager on spending.
  • Prepare for annual audits and ensure adherence to anti-corruption policy.

Qualifications:

  • MA/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian/recovery contexts.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with capacity building and training staff.
