Open Positions
1. Finance Assistant
Career Level: Junior (1–3 years)
Number of Positions: 1
Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day finance operations.
- Check supplier invoices and ensure compliance with NRC standards.
- Support month-end closing and prepare financial reports.
- Manage petty cash, cheque payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure taxes and government payments are settled monthly.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
Qualifications:
- BA in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of English (written and verbal).
- Experience with large institutional donors is an advantage.
2. Finance Coordinator
Career Level: Mid Level (3–5 years)
Number of Positions: 1
Responsibilities:
- Implement NRC’s financial systems and procedures at area level.
- Prepare budgets, donor reports, and financial analysis.
- Train staff with financial responsibilities.
- Verify vouchers, PR/PO/BAS, and ensure compliance with NRC standards.
- Ensure timely payment of salaries, suppliers, and contractors.
- Monitor budgets and advise Area Manager on spending.
- Prepare for annual audits and ensure adherence to anti-corruption policy.
Qualifications:
- MA/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian/recovery contexts.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Experience with capacity building and training staff.
