Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips over 5.5 million smallholder farmers across nine African countries with farm supplies, credit, training, and agricultural services. Supported farmers increase their income and assets by more than 35% while building long‑term resilience.
In Ethiopia, One Acre Fund focuses on agroforestry and seed multiplication, helping farmers plant over 30 million trees, produce 1,500+ metric tonnes of improved teff seed, and improve the livelihoods of nearly 200,000 community members. The Ethiopia team includes 180+ permanent staff and nearly 1,000 seasonal rural staff, with headquarters in Addis Ababa and a major program office in Bahir Dar.
The Agroforestry Training Senior Officer will lead technical content creation, revision, and delivery for field teams, stakeholders, and tree nursery operators, driving reforestation impact across the South Tree Program.
