Job Summary
The Government Relations & Program Support Coordinator will serve as the primary liaison between One Acre Fund Ethiopia and government stakeholders across the Hadiya and Kembata Zones. The role focuses on strengthening partnerships, supporting program implementation, ensuring compliance with government requirements, coordinating reports, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and helping reduce operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Government Relations and Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain working relationships with woreda and zonal government offices and project focal persons.
- Coordinate communication with government institutions and external stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve field-level partnership issues in collaboration with program teams.
- Participate in government meetings and coordination activities.
- Support opportunities to strengthen and expand organizational partnerships.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and submit quarterly reports to relevant government offices.
- Coordinate report preparation with internal departments.
- Prepare mid-term and final project reports.
- Draft official correspondence as required.
- Maintain compliance documentation and submit required reports on time.
Program Coordination and Compliance
- Monitor government support provided to field operations.
- Track project implementation and follow up on identified issues.
- Support compliance with government requirements and organizational procedures.
- Assist with resolving operational challenges affecting program delivery.
Training and Capacity Building
- Facilitate government relations training for field teams.
- Support orientation and onboarding of new government counterparts.
- Co-facilitate project workshops and stakeholder events.
- Provide administrative support for partnership activities.
Other Duties
- Support additional partnership and program assignments as required.
- Assist with special projects including documentation, translations, data entry, inventory support, and field activities when assigned.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold a University Degree.
Work Experience
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in partnerships or communications.
- Minimum 2 years of work and living experience in the Central Ethiopia region.
- Experience organizing and facilitating workshops.
- Experience delivering training or public presentations.
- Strong report writing experience.

- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and anticipate challenges.

- Willingness to travel to remote kebeles using public transportation.
Language Requirements
