Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day‑to‑day implementation of project activities at grassroots level
- Monitor and report on project progress in line with donor requirements and Plan International policies
- Support local civil society organizations to prevent and respond to harmful practices including:
- Child, Early and Forced Marriage (CEFM)
- Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C)
- Teenage pregnancy
- Gender‑Based Violence (GBV)
- Work closely with contractual partners, government stakeholders, and community leaders
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and joint supervision visits
- Contribute to participatory monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related Social Sciences

Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience, including 2 years with NGOs

Knowledge:
- GBV, harmful traditional practices, gender equality, and child protection
- Development and humanitarian principles, CP/GBV and SRHR policies

Skills:
- Community mobilization, facilitation, negotiation, and representation
- Planning, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- General finance, administration, and ICT skills (SAP, Word, Excel)

Languages: Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other local languages is desirable
