Role Summary
The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Officer and support the implementation of Right To Play’s education projects in target schools. The role involves coordinating activities, training teachers, engaging communities, and monitoring project outcomes to ensure quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Activity Planning (45%)
- Support teachers in developing activity plans aligned with project goals.
- Organize workshops, play days, awareness sessions, summer camps, and sports tournaments.
- Facilitate training sessions and distribute teaching/play materials.
- Integrate play‑based learning into classrooms and mentor teachers.

Monitoring & Reporting (20%)
- Conduct regular school visits and classroom observations.
- Collect quantitative and qualitative data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies.

Partnerships (20%)
- Represent Right To Play in local forums and stakeholder meetings.
- Engage school principals, teachers, and community leaders.
- Identify community needs and support partner selection.

Supervision & Guidance (10%)
- Assess teacher and coach performance.
- Facilitate professional development and peer learning.
- Recommend certification for qualified teachers/coaches.

Other Duties (5%) as assigned.
Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Language Teaching, Social Sciences, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in project implementation, teacher training, or coaching.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Coaching and feedback abilities.
- Effective report writing and computer literacy (MS Office).
- Knowledge of play‑based learning, child rights, and community‑led processes.
Languages: Excellent spoken and written English and local languages.
Assets:
- Experience in Bishoftu or Lume District.
- Workshop facilitation and teaching background.
- Valid motorbike driver’s license.
