Job Summary
The Reservation and Ticketing Agent will manage customer travel bookings, issue tickets, and ensure smooth travel arrangements. The role requires strong knowledge of airline reservation systems, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle high‑volume inquiries professionally.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Flight Reservations
- Handle flight reservations and issue tickets using Galileo and other GDS platforms.
- Provide accurate fare quotations, rebooking options, and itineraries.

Customer Support
- Assist clients with inquiries on schedules, fares, baggage policies, and travel requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide timely solutions.

Ticketing & Payments
- Process payments, refunds, cancellations, and ticket revalidations.
- Ensure compliance with IATA, airline, and company standards.

Sales & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales/activity reports.
- Maintain updated knowledge of airline promotions and travel regulations.

Coordination
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams for seamless travel arrangements.
- Apply call center handling experience to manage high‑volume inquiries.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma with IATA Foundation in Travel & Tourism.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an IATA‑accredited travel agency.
- Proficiency in Galileo and other reservation systems.
- Strong communication skills in English and Amharic (additional languages are an advantage).
- Excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
