Junior Operations Officer

The Junior Operations Officer will support day-to-day flight support and airport operations at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. The role involves assisting passengers, communicating with clients and vendors, coordinating operational activities, and helping ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operations at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport and assist passengers as required.
• Help coordinate activities that contribute to smooth flight operations.
• Manage email correspondence and telephone communication with clients and vendors.
• Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a good understanding of the company’s services to address customer requests accurately.
• Coordinate with the operations team and other departments to support service delivery.
• Escalate complex or unresolved customer and operational issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide feedback that can help improve customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Coordinate with vendors to help ensure quality service delivery.
• Maintain a calm and professional approach during demanding or stressful situations.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support operational targets and objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Flight Dispatch, Aviation Management, or Ground Services Training.
• Understanding of flight support, ground handling, and airport operations.
• Previous experience coordinating and executing flight operations is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Fresh graduates with zero years of experience are highly encouraged to apply.
• Willingness and flexibility to work shifts is required due to the nature of aviation operations.
