Education: Diploma or Degree in Education from a recognized college or university

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Teacher or Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities
The Teaching Assistant will support teachers and students with classroom and learning activities, including:
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation
- Preparing classroom materials and equipment
- Tracking student attendance and class schedules
- Reviewing classroom material with students who experience learning challenges
- Supporting small-group remedial teaching and learning activities
- Supervising students during field trips and school activities
- Ensuring classrooms are safe and tidy before classes begin
- Assisting with grading assignments and communicating student progress to parents
- Supporting students with adjustment, learning, and socialization
- Reporting potential behavioral issues to teachers
