Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Officer supports recruitment, onboarding, HR policy implementation, and employee data management. The role ensures compliance with Ethiopian labor regulations and MSIE’s HR policies while fostering an inclusive workplace culture aligned with MSIE’s safeguarding and equality commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement MSIE’s HR Policy Manual and Ethiopian Labour Code
- Organize recruitment programs and participate in selection processes
- Conduct orientation programs for new hires
- Manage staff contracts, renewals, and terminations in compliance with HR policies
- Maintain and update employee databases integrated with payroll systems
- Prepare annual leave plans and monitor utilization across departments
- Support HR team capacity building and performance management programs
- Administer staff entitlements, allowances, and benefits
- Liaise with insurance providers for employee family status updates and enrollments
- Prepare HR reports and maintain personnel files and archives
- Assist in handling disciplinary issues and monitoring employee satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- MA/BA in Management or Human Resource Management
Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant HR experience
Skills
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Good computer proficiency
- Knowledge of Ethiopian labor regulations and HR policies
- Team building and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive and dynamic approach
